here is an ongoing tattoo that im working on of ganesh. its been pointed out to me that i havent been posting the progress of this tattoo! so here it is and in the most current tattoo session ive been working on tattooing the background. only the person getting the tattoo will get this but… je te plumerai!!!

a short session today for this half-sleeve tattoo

in this session, the bulk of the linework has been completed. so we are, for the most part, past any more drawing stages in this half sleeve tattoo design. the tattoo sessions from here on in will begin with a tattoo machine buzzing about instead of with a sharpie captivated in the design process! after throwing down some linework, i did some shading to fill the area that the client felt seemed most empty. a cherry blossom flower fills up the ditch of his arm and mala beads were added to buddha who’s face looks to be in contemplative serenity. we are still debating what tint of coloring we are going to do on buddha’s skin. perhaps a flesh tone more rich than the pale complexion of the geisha on the outer arm of this tattoo? dunno yet.. hmmm…

I’m so very excited that this tattoo is approaching completion! I have completed colour in the area of the tattoo that is a cover up ( peony ). All i have left to do is colour in the koi!

Wess Ness * Start of a skull, snake and rose tattoo

Wess has been doing some incredibly solid work in the last few weeks. Since he’s joined the fold here at integral temple he’s been getting a steady influx of clients and some fantastic projects to boot. Here’s a start of an arm (first session) that Wess has begun. The tattoo is one of Wess’ original designs custom fit to flow with the clients arm… more progress on this tattoo to follow here in Integral Temple News.
