After over a year of searching for an extraordinary piercer, through a mutual friend, we were pointed towards Amy Bidwell. Born and raised in Markham, she moved to thunder bay where she completed a piercing apprenticeship. Since then, she has been committed to her mentor for over 5 yrs. Her determination has lead her to surpass the skill level of her mentor by a mile! We were so impressed by her work that we offered her a job. In June, Amy made the trip down to Toronto to complete her training in blood borne pathogens and infection control so that she had the qualifications we require in our studio. We have been greatly anticipating Amy’s arrival for 5 months now!
as many of you know, Jayme has been doing all the piercings in the studio on top of running the shop and her tea and holistic business is rapidly growing. In her 13 yrs of piercing, Jayme has worked with and learnt from the best in the industry including, Tom Brazda and the late but not for gotten Keith Alexander, earned many awards and has been recognized and well respected for her proactive work with the local health departments and for educating others to bring up the standards of practice for the industry we love so much. She was the first piercer in Canada to insist on piercing only with internally threaded titanium jewelry, despite the cost.
Jayme has known for quite some time now that the next phase of her destiny was calling her, with her holistic business growing so rapidly, she has long felt that the time was nearing to pass her wealth of knowledge onto a so deserving piercer. Recognizing a younger version of herself in Amy, Jayme has no doubt that Amy is going to be a huge success here at integral temple and she cant wait to bring Amy to the next level in her magnificent career. Amy is brilliant, zany, gorgeous and full of gusto and were sure you’re all going to love her as much as we do!
Amy will be starting on Sept 7, 2010; be sure to come on in and meet her!
Her work can be viewed “here“. Amy will be avail full time for piercings, appointments are strongly recommended however we will do our best to accommodate walk ins

Regretfully, we have had to part ways with Wess Ness. Integral Temple has a commitment to our clients and staff safety and are committed to providing you with the best and most memorable experience with us.
We are currently looking for an exceptional artist to take his place. In the meantime, Chris Moniz has agreed to take on any unfinished pieces that Wess was working on until we have a replacement. As many of you know Mo has a very busy schedule so we apologize that the wait times may be longer than you would’ve expected with Wess. We are doing everything we can to make the transition a smooth one.
We wish Wess and his family only good things in their future endeavors.

made in canada
Wess designed and tattooed a unique Canadian tattoo today. Inside the shape of Canada’s maple leaf is the flag of Guyana. In stamped lettering, ” MADE IN CANADA ” is proudly worn. As a bonus, Wess decided to put in a little flair by adding some leafy looking design on either side of the maple, thus making the tattoo look more complete. His client went with his addition and here is the result.

The following tattoo is a rib piece by Chris Moniz. In this session, he mapped out the general outline in light grey… This is called a skim line or a blood line. The reason this is done is so that all the reference points of the tattoo is present without hard lining everything. A lot of the tattoo will not be hard lined so that it can be made to be more realistic in the end. This Vampirella tattoo will be done in full color including flesh tones. A very exciting tattoo to work on which will eventually be a welcome part of Mo’s portfolio.

The outer part of this half sleeve was done by Chris Moniz some 6-7 years back. Since then, this gentleman had gone to another tattoo artist to get the inside of his arm tattooed. The artist who had done the inside did an alright job, however, did not have the presence of mind to use a background that would make the sleeve as a whole connect and be unified. This other tattoo artist had done some staggered wind bars that did not connect. Mo’s task in this session was to re-do the existing background so that the half sleeve tattoo will all flow and be unified. Here is the result…
