A horse… of course!!!

horse tattoo

tattoo of a horse on arm

Mo’s client has a passion for horses! She wanted the tattoo placed in her inner bicep area where she can see it, yet it’s in a place where she can choose to hide it. Mo added a bit of background so that the picture would not look so empty and also it helps to bring out the horse itself. She can now be reminded of her love for horses no matter where in the world she may be.

Love Tattoo

by earth sea and air

by earth sea and air

This client approached Mo with an idea for a tattoo about loving the living creatures on this earth. The quote she wanted is to reflect the belief that no being on earth is held more important than any other…
An owl represents life in the air, the whale represents life in water, the snail represents life on ground.
Tying it all together, Mo created a tattoo to represent the clients passion for life… and just in time for the wedding!!!! ;)

What could be next for her tattoo? We have been entertaining the possibility of making the creatures have full colour!

A dream of a Zeppelin

   Posted by: Moniz   in Uncategorized

zeppelin dreamMo just added this completed tattoo to his black and grey tattoo section of his portfolio. The client chose this tattoo based on a dream he had. He dreamed of flying in a zeppelin through the clouds of a moonlit sky. His dream had made such a great impact that he dedicated it to his arm. Although it’s been a while since he had this dream, he still remembers it vividly and remembers how alive he felt through the experience… This is what Mo has tried to capture in this tattoo.

winter warmer ~ apple spice tea and chocolate minTEAFriday December 3, 2010Integral Temple In the Community

Integral Temple donated winter warmer ~ apple spice tea and chocolate minTEA for 200 people in the Cornell mews for the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony and boy! It was a HIT and left people coming back for more!!!. This was the best turn out this event hosted by the CRPA (cornell rate payers association) has ever seen!! There was caroling lead by Cornell’s own tenor, Jonathan lee and we were even joined by Cornellius the village mascot!!

While the staff at Integral Temple were busy serving tea, Charley got a very special job of her own. Helping a VERY special visitor hand out candy canes to all the children! (good thing mommy has connections with Santa! :)

SantaWe also had a sampling of our special holiday gift baskets on display and are taking orders until Dec 20th. Baskets can be custom made to suit any occasion and the gift receivers tastes, of course, if you don’t know what they would like, we usually have a pretty good idea :) They can also be made in any price point starting at $10 and are perfect for secret Santa gifts, your kids teachers, co-workers and anyone else on your list that deserves an extra special gift.

The annual tree lighting is an event that is paid for by the CRPA every year as well as the addition of the skating rink in the mews and many other functions that we enjoy in our community. It is a not for profit organization run by dedicated community volunteers. Please consider membership (it’s only 5 bux!!!) to keep events like this going! (www.mycornell.ca)

If you are a business in Cornell and are interested in promoting your business like we have at local events please contact Jayme at businessmember@mycornell.ca

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, AMY

   Posted by: IntegralTemple   in Uncategorized

amybiopicAfter over a year of searching for an extraordinary piercer, through a mutual friend, we were pointed towards Amy Bidwell. Born and raised in Markham, she moved to thunder bay where she completed a piercing apprenticeship. Since then, she has been committed to her mentor for over 5 yrs. We were so impressed by her work that we offered her a job. In June, Amy made the trip down to Toronto to complete her training in blood borne pathogens and infection control so that she had the qualifications we require in our studio. We have been greatly anticipating Amy’s arrival for 5 months now!

as many of you know, Jayme has been doing all the piercings in the studio on top of running the shop and her tea and holistic business is rapidly growing. In her 13 yrs of piercing, Jayme has worked with and learnt from the best in the industry including, Tom Brazda and the late but not for gotten Keith Alexander, earned many awards and has been recognized and well respected for her proactive work with the local health departments and for educating others to bring up the standards of practice for the industry we love so much. She was the first piercer in Canada to insist on piercing only with internally threaded titanium jewelry, despite the cost.

Jayme has known for quite some time now that the next phase of her destiny was calling her, with her holistic business growing so rapidly, she has long felt that the time was nearing to pass her wealth of knowledge onto a so deserving piercer. Recognizing a younger version of herself in Amy, Jayme has no doubt that Amy is going to be a huge success here at integral temple and she cant wait to bring Amy to the next level in her magnificent career. Amy is brilliant, zany, gorgeous and full of gusto and were sure you’re all going to love her as much as we do!

Amy will be starting on Sept 7, 2010; be sure to come on in and meet her!

Her work can be viewed “here”.  Amy will be avail full time for piercings, appointments are strongly recommended however we will do our best to accommodate walk ins :)

WELL WISHES TO WESS NESS

   Posted by: IntegralTemple   in Uncategorized

Regretfully, we have had to part ways with Wess Ness. Integral Temple has a commitment to our clients and staff safety and are committed to providing you with the best and most memorable experience with us.

We are currently looking for an exceptional artist to take his place. In the meantime, Chris Moniz has agreed to take on any unfinished pieces that Wess was working on until we have a replacement. As many of you know Mo has a very busy schedule so we apologize that the wait times may be longer than you would’ve expected with Wess. We are doing everything we can to make the transition a smooth one.

We wish Wess and his family only good things in their future endeavors.
